• What is the Frontier Elite Gold Status Offer?

• Frontier made changes to the elite status program in 2024. How does this affect my Frontier Elite 20K/Gold status?

  Prior to January 2024 - The offer listed on this site was for Frontier Elite 20K status.
  
  Frontier Elite 20K has been changed to Frontier Elite Gold status.
  
  If you purchased Frontier Elite 20K status prior to January 2024 - your Elite 20K is now Gold status.



• Who is eligible for this promotional offer?

• What is the Elite Gold promotion, and how does it work?

  1. Instant FRONTIER Miles Elite Gold Status:
  
  Eligible travel rewards credit card holders in the USA have the option to purchase Elite Gold status, valid through December 31, 2023
  
  Note: Purchases made on or after May 31, 2023, at $599, under this option will have their initial Elite Gold status valid until December 31, 2024.
  
  2. Accelerated FRONTIER MILES Elite Gold Status:
  
  Members who purchased prior to May 31, 2023: Members who pay for an Elite Gold status challenge fee using their eligible travel rewards credit card, will get instant Elite Gold status through September 30, 2023 and, upon earning 5,000 qualifying miles from flying or spending $5,000 on the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard, or any combination of flying and spending by September 30, 2023, will enjoy the perks and benefits of Elite Gold status through December 31, 2023.
  
  Members who purchase after May 31, 2023 for the Status Challenge:
  
  You will receive Elite Gold status which is valid until December 31, 2023. Between the time your account is upgraded to Elite Gold, and December 31, 2023, you must earn 10,000 qualifying miles from flying or spending $10,000 on the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard, or any combination of flying and spending by December 31, 2023, will enjoy the perks and benefits of Elite Gold status through December 31, 2024.



• Do I have to be a FRONTIER Miles member to take advantage of this offer?

  Yes. If you are not a FRONTIER Miles member, you can signup here and then participate in the promotion like any other member.



• How much are the fees?

  1. Instant FRONTIER Miles Elite Gold Status until Dec 31, 2023 starts at USD $499.00. You will enjoy all the perks & benefits of Elite Gold status during this time.
  
  2. Accelerated FRONTIER MILES Elite Gold Status through to Sep 30, 2023 starts at USD $199.00. The first 2,000 applications pay a reduced rate of USD $80.00.

  Updated May 31, 2023 - Non-challenge purchases now get status for an extra 12 months until Dec 31, 2024, under the new price. Any members who purchased Elite Gold outright for $499, will have their Gold status extended until Dec 31, 2024 at no extra charge.



• I don't have a GoWild! membership, can I do the Elite Gold offer?

  Yes, absolutely.

• Do I need to have elite status with an airline or hotel to participate?

  No. Anyone can select either offer as long as they meet the requirements for the promotion, and pay for the transaction using their US-issued travel rewards credit card.



• I already hold Frontier Elite status, should I apply?

  No, this offer is not for existing Frontier Elite status holders.
  
  Purchasing this offer will not extend any existing elite status.



• What will I receive as an Elite Gold member?

  Frontier Elite Gold status unlocks enhanced benefits when flying with Frontier, such as:
  
  - Complimentary seat assignment
  - Stretch seating when available on check-in
  - Complimentary carry-on bag
  - Priority boarding

• I already have a FRONTIER Airlines Mastercard but don't have elite status; should I apply?

  You could benefit from holding Elite Gold status if you do not currently hold any Frontier Elite status today. This includes Frontier credit card holders.



• What happens at the end of the Elite Gold status period

  If you purchased the Instant FRONTIER Miles Elite Gold status offer - you will have Elite Gold status until 12/31/23 and need to earn and fly sufficient qualifying miles to requalify by 12/31/23 to retain the status into 2024. Refer here.
  
  Updated May 31, 2023 - members now get status for an extra 12 months until December 31, 2023 and the price for this is now $599.
  
  If you selected the Accelerated FRONTIER Miles Elite Gold status offer you will have Elite Gold status until 09/30/23 and need to earn 5,000 miles from flying or spending $5,000 on the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard, or any combination of flying and spending, will enjoy the perks and benefits of Elite Gold status through the end of 2023.   Updated May 31, 2023 - members now get status until December 31, 2023, and price for this is now $199 for the first 1,000 members (the standard price of $299 will apply after 1,000 sell out at $199). If these members earn 10,000 qualifying miles by December 31, 2023 the Elite Gold status is extended until December 31, 2024.



• Can Elite Gold status be used in conjunction with the GoWild! Pass?

  Yes absolutely as the Elite Gold status will gain you benefits when you fly with the GoWild subscription pass.
  
  Note that the GoWild! flight passes do not earn Elite Qualifying Miles. Learn more about the GoWild! pass here.



• How long will it take before my Frontier Elite Gold status reflects on my account?

  Frontier Elite Gold status will be upgraded within 24 hours following payment.



• What details do you need?

  You must use the email address associated with your FRONTIER Miles member account during the registration process. We will confirm your details match in real-time.



• My credit card was declined

  You must have a US-issued travel credit card and use this for payment of the fee. Prepaid and Debit cards are not eligible forms of payment.
  
  If you believe the credit card you are using, should be an eligible credit card, please email the first 6 digits of your credit card to [email protected].
  
  Our team will review the card, and advise you on next steps.
  
  IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT send any photos, screenshots or the full card number. We only need the first 6 numbers of the card.



• Do you offer a Status Match instead of a paid Elite Gold promotion?

  No. This offer is not a Status Match, and the only Elite tier offered as part of this offer is Elite Gold.
  
  If you hold Elite status with another airline, or hotel - you may register your interest in a Status Match with Frontier at frontierstatusmatch.com



• What happens if my Elite Gold purchase/application is not successful?

  In the unlikely event that your Elite Gold status applicants is not successful, we will promptly notify you, and any applicable fees you have paid will be refunded back to the card used on the transaction.



• How long will this offer be available?

  The offer may end or be varied at any time at the discretion of Frontier Airlines.

• Who will charge my credit card and what will appear on my bank statement?

  Applicable fees will appear as FRONTIER GOLD STATUS, or FRONTIER 20K OFFER if purchased prior to Jan 31, 2024 - billed in USD.
  
  Some members may have the transaction appear to come from the country of Singapore. This is normal and you should not be alarmed.
  
  For current FRONTIER Airlines Mastercard card holders this transaction will not earn 5x on Frontier but will earn 1x in qualifying miles. These qualifying miles will count towards your challenge if you selected the Accelerated FRONTIER Miles Elite Gold.
